What is CBD Oil?

WHAT IS THE BEST METHOD OF USE?

For Terra Tinctures CBD products we can only recommend you take one dropper full by mouth. If you don’t like the flavor of the oil supplements try using in a tasty shake. Oils are to be taken sublingually and held under your tongue for 60-90 seconds before being swallowed. The chews are best used as a chewable, and added to your daily supplemental regimen.

Everybody’s tolerance to supplements are different, so for best results start with half a dose and see how your body responds.

Our recommended serving size is 10mg. Numerous persons have found their amounts vary from as small as 5mg and as high as 80mg.

HOW IS OUR PRODUCT MADE?

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CBD AND THC?

Both CBD and THC are chemically similar to your body’s own endocannabinoids. This allows them to interact with your cannabinoid receptors. The interaction impacts the release of neurotransmitters in your brain. Neurotransmitters are chemicals responsible for relaying messages between cells.

Despite their similar chemical structures, CBD and THC don’t have the same psychoactive effects. In fact, CBD is a nonpsychoactive compound. That means it doesn’t produce the “high” associated with THC.

Will CBD make me fail a drug test?

Terra Tinctures cannot guarantee that you will or will not pass a drug screen. Drug screens vary and some can be more sensitive than others. Federally legal hemp extract has had the THC eliminated from it, it is highly unlikely that CBD would make you fail traditional drug tests.

IS CBD OIL ILLEGAL?

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEMP AND MARIJUANA?

Hemp refers to strains of Cannabis sativa that have been bred specifically for fiber used for clothing and construction, oils and topical ointments, nutritional benefits and a wide and growing variety of other purposes that don’t involve intoxication.

Marijuana is a slang term used to describe strains of Cannabis sativa specifically bred for the potent resinous glands (trichomes) that grow on the flowers and some leaves (buds). Typically used for intoxication.
